About me
Hi, I’m Aheli (my name literally translates to “Grace” )!
I’m currently a pre-final year undergrad in Electrical Engineering at the Institute of Engineering & Management, Kolkata. My interests lie at the intersection of machine learning, data science and their applications in sustainability, healthcare and economic forecasting.
I’ve interned at IIT Roorkee, Acencore, IEM Labs, KIT Germany where I worked on projects ranging from economic growth nowcasting, recommendation systems, Quantum Optimization Algorithms to IoT-ML in medical diagnostics. I enjoy building and optimizing AI models that solve real-world problems, and I’m always looking for opportunities to learn and collaborate!
When I’m not building models or diving into data, you’ll probably find me doing something creative or competitive. I used to be an inter-district swimmer and I still get a thrill from staying up late to catch Euro league matches (sleep schedule who?). Music is a big part of my life. I’m trained in Hindustani classical and Rabindra Sangeet and nothing beats unwinding with a good raga or Tagore song (check out my Spotify).
I love painting and writing and I’m always hunting for the next great film (avid cinephile alert! check out my letterboxd)
